In the paper packaging industry, a die-cut mould is a “die” used for paper cutting.
A die-cut mold is composed of “template” and “blade”. “Laser” is applied on the template (usually a wooden one) to make the cut-outs for the blade (steel knife). The blades are bent to shape with a machine. Then, use a mallet to install the blades into the cut-outs on the wooden template.
After the artwork paper is printed, we use a die-cutter to cut the paper into desired shapes.
